LAKE SUCCESS, N.Y. — Christopher J. Boever and Robert Gulliver have been named to new positions at Hain Celestial Group Inc., while Gary W. Tickle, CEO of Hain Celestial North America, will step down.
Boever has been hired as chief customer officer. In his new role he will be responsible for driving the sales and customer agenda in the United States, as well as helping ensure Hain Celestial transforms its innovation capabilities.
Boever has more than 20 years of consumer-packaged foods industry experience, most recently as executive vice president and chief customer officer and president of food service at Pinnacle Foods Corp. Prior to Pinnacle he was senior vice president of consumer products at ConAgra Foods and earlier was vice president of sales and business development at Hormel Foods Corp.
He received a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the Univ. of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
With the hiring of Boever, Hain Celestial said Tickle will leave the company after a brief transition. Following Tickle’s departure, Hain Celestial’s North American organizational structure will be streamlined, including the elimination of the CEO of North America position. Boever and Mark L. Schiller, president and CEO of Hain Celestial Group, will assume the majority of Tickle’s previous responsibilities, the company said.
Gulliver has been named chief human resources officer. He has more than 25 years of human resources leadership experience, most recently as chief human resources officer for the National Football League. He earlier spent six years at Wells Fargo in a variety of roles, including executive vice president and head of human resources, wealth, brokerage and retirement services. Additionally, he worked in HR roles at Citi, PwC, GE Capital and GTE (now Verizon).
He received a bachelor’s degree in industrial and labor relations at Cornell Univ.and a master’s degree in business administration at The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
