Baconfest Chicago is coming back strong during its 11th year in the Windy City. The event is scheduled for April 5-6 at the Isadore and Sadie Dorin Forum near the campus of Univ. of Illinois -Chicago.

Baconfest plans to showcase hundreds of local chefs as they come up with the latest dishes for bacon fanatics to try over the two-day exhibition. 

Opening up the event on April 6, some of the highlighted restaurants include Carnivore Inc., Gather, HaiSous Vietnamese Kitchen, Sparrow Coffee Roastery with George Trois and The Duck inn.

During the Saturday lunch session on April 7, a combination of traditional and trendy treats will be available to bacon lovers. Atwood, BITES asian kitchen + bar, Cooking Skills Academy, Hearth Restaurant, NoMI, and The Delta will all have bacon options. 

For the final session that night Baconfest organizers will have a variety of bacon treats from local spots. 676 Restaurant & Bar, Good Measure, Steadfast, Steingold’s of Chicago, The Broken Barrel Bar and Yolk will all be there.
