FORT WORTH, Texas — Texas Meat Packers (TMP) announced Nikkie Vazquez has been appointed the director of quality control for the company.
Vazquez recently worked for Patterson Food Processors as the director of quality control. Before that she worked in quality assurance positions at Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages, Surlean Foods, Deen Meat and Cooked Foods, Gourmet Cuisine Inc., National Food & beverage Inc., CTI Foods and Tyson Foods.
“I’m excited to be a part of the TMP team. We continue to monitor and tweak our quality control practices and procedures to consistently deliver the highest-quality products to our customers,” Vazquez said. “I’m proud to say that our production process is on par with industry best practices.”
Texas Meat Packers, and its affiliate Patterson Food Processors, was acquired in late 2018 by private equity investment firm Everstone Capitol which was led by David Eberstein. He has since taken over as CEO of TMP.
“Quality control and food safety are our biggest priorities,” Eberstein said. “We follow best practices across the entire company and plant, consistent with our British Retail Consortium (BRC) certification. As we like to say, ‘best practices lead to best execution,’ and this is something we are both committed to and passionate about.”
