FRANKFURT, Germany – The triennial IFFA show, bringing together leading international meat processing companies and industry experts, opened its doors May 4 at the Frankfurt Fair and Exhibition Centre in Frankfurt, Germany. Show organizers are expecting more than 60,000 attendees from more than 140 countries over the six days of the exhibition.
IFFA 2019 is being held on 119,000 sq. m. (1.28 million sq. ft.) of exhibition space, which is 8 percent more space than the 2016 IFFA show. In 2016, 1,036 exhibitors from 49 countries and 63,000 visitors attended the show from 142 countries, which was a 5 percent increase over the 2013 show.
This year’s show will introduce the new Exhibition Hall 12 which will host part of the show for the first time. The hall provides 33,600 sq. m. (362,000 sq. ft.) of exhibition space over two levels.
Exhibitors will showcase their newest and most innovative packaging, sales, slaughtering, dismembering and processing technologies and products.
