Ontario, Canada-based The Works Gourmet Burger Bistro announced a limited time offer (LTO) late in April called “Baconism & Beyond.” The restaurant will feature two Baconism burgers and one Baconism appetizer plus two featured Beyond Meat burgers and one Beyond Meat appetizer.

One of the burgers is called the Sugar, Spice and Everything Nice & Bacony. It features a bacon and beef patty, candied bacon, jack cheese, onion strings and spicy chipotle dip. Gettin’ Piggier With It Burger also has a signature bacon and beef patty topped with Canadian bacon, cheddar, smoked bacon, smokey barbecue sauce and onion strings. The appetizer included on the menu consists of the Maple Bacon Mozza Bites which are breaded, and deep-fried crispy mozzarella cheese pockets tossed in a maple bacon seasoning and served on a bed of bacon sticks with bacon roasted garlic aioli.

“With the ever-changing eating habits of Canadians and knowing that typically at least one person in every social group or family is vegetarian, The Works has always ensured our menu is inclusive for all,” said Bruce Miller, president of The Works Gourmet Burger Bistro.   

For the Beyond Meat side, the restaurant will offer the Beyond A Hipsters Wildest Dreams, a Beyond Burger patty topped with caramelized onions, avocado and Havarti cheese. The Beyond Sexy is a Beyond Burger with grilled pineapple, banana peppers, and arugula topped with a sweet and tangy sauce and a bun.

The Works “Baconism & Beyond” Burgers are available in all restaurants for a limited time only, through June 9.
