NEW YORK, N.Y. – Officials with Niman Ranch are pumping up its partnership with New Belgium Brewing at the 2019 Fancy Food Show, being held June 23-25. At a booth promoting a new line of barbecue products using Niman’s Certified Humane pork and beef infused with New Belgium’s Fat Tire Amber Ale, attendees of the show were offered samples of each of the five new products, including: Fat Tire Beer Bratwurst, Fat Tire Spicy Cheddar Beer Bratwurst, St. Louis Ribs with Fat Tire BBQ Sauce, Pulled Pork with Fat Tire BBQ Sauce and Shredded Beef with Fat Tire BBQ Sauce.
The launch of the fully cooked items included promoting each company’s commitment to sustainability and Niman Ranch’s pork and beef, sourced from independent producers and without antibiotics or hormones. Several of the new offerings will utilize compostable packaging, according to both companies. They will be available at specialty retailers beginning in August.
“The partnership came together over beers and brats and always felt like a great match,” said Chris Oliviero, general manager of Niman Ranch. “Both brands are mission-driven and committed to using our platforms for good, leading on sustainability and ensuring our precious natural resources are protected for future generations. At the same time, we’re preserving the livelihood of independent US family farmers and ranchers and the rural communities where they live and work.”
“We could not be more proud to enter into the food arena alongside Niman Ranch and their network of independent sustainable family farmers,” said Leah Pilcer, spokeswoman for New Belgium Brewing.
