AUSTIN, Minn. – Hormel Foods’ Natural Choice deli meats debuted single-serve lunchmeat options on July 24.
The company said each package will feature 2 oz., or five slices, of deli meat that will provide a different convenient choice for customers.
“We’ve received feedback from consumers that smaller households sometimes struggle to get through the entire package of lunchmeat, so we wanted to provide a convenient option for them,” said Samantha Balaski, Hormel Natural Choice brand manager. “They are also perfect for on-the-go snacks for those seeking additional protein throughout the day.”
The new Natural Choice lunchmeat will be available in four varieties that include roasted turkey, applewood smoked turkey, honey ham and cherrywood smoked ham. Each option is made without artificial preservatives or ingredients.
The single-serve resealable pouches retail between $1.29-$1.49 and include 9 to 10 grams of protein. Hormel said the meat can be purchased at Hy-Vee, Price Chopper (Golub), Grocer's Supply, Woodman's, Giant Carlisle, Brookshire, Cub Foods, Meijer and Shaw's stores.
