ATLANTA – As part of its continued growth into the retail segment, officials with Oakwood, Georgia-based Wayne Farms LLC, announced a line of fully cooked, premium chicken products are available at all Whole Foods Market stores throughout the Atlanta area. The poultry company announced the launch of four fully cooked, sous-vide prepared products featuring flame-grilled chicken sourced from Global Animal Welfare Partnership Step 2 verified producers at 425 Whole Foods locations this past May.

The stores are carrying four varieties of the line of flash-frozen products: Flame Grilled Chicken Breasts; Grilled Chicken Breast Chunks; Oven Roasted Chicken Wings and Waffle Flavored Chicken Bites. They are priced between $5.99 and $6.99 per package.

According to Wayne Farms, the company recently invested in controlled atmosphere stunning technology as an additional animal welfare practice for the chickens used in the Naked Truth product line.

Wayne Farms first launched the Naked Truth brand of products at a limited number of Sam’s Club stores in 2018 and has since expanded distribution.
