BREA, Calif. — West Coast Prime Meats recently announced that it has expanded its distribution routes and delivery areas in Northern California.
The company said it plans to expand services a few days a week in the Central Coast, Sacramento and Bay Area. As demand increases, more trucks and service days will be added.
"As our Southern California customers expanded into the Northern California market, we developed a baseline service model to support their operations. Now we are opening these Northern California routes to new customers and will be adding a foodservice sales presence in the region," said Nathan Bennett, president of West Coast Prime Meats LLC.
In November 2018, West Coast Prime Meats partnered with Niman Ranch, a subsidiary of Perdue Farms, to further extend its distribution channels.
West Coast started in 2001 as the Claim Jumper Restaurant Chain and then incorporated into the current name in 2010. The company focuses on understanding chefs and the custom products, cuts, trims and blends along with special packaging needed for foodservice. The company supplies products to restaurants, hotels, resorts and country clubs in California, Nevada, Arizona and Hawaii.
