FRANKLIN, Tenn. — Hardee’s, subsidiary of CKE Restaurant Holdings Inc., announced it is testing a new set of products called Thanksgiving in a Box. The limited-time meal offer will provide seasonal products at participating Jacksonville, Florida, restaurants until Dec. 3.

The Hardee’s Thanksgiving in a box starts with Stuffing Breaded Tenders. The 100 percent all-white meat chicken tenders are hand-breaded with sage and herb stuffing breading and are served with savory chicken gravy.

“The people have spoken, and it’s time to put a fresh spin on the holiday classics. With Hardee’s new Thanksgiving in a Box, you get the delicious taste of the Thanksgiving flavors you know and love, but with a twist,” shared Owen Klein, vice president of Global Culinary Innovation, CKE Restaurants. “Consumers are craving new ways to enjoy the flavors of the season, and Hardee’s Thanksgiving in a Box is the perfect way to break from the same tired take on sweet potatoes and green beans and enjoy Thanksgiving throughout the holiday season.”

Hardee’s also did a survey that showed 45 percent of respondents are exploring alternatives to the traditional Thanksgiving. The survey also showed that 64 percent of people would switch out the standard turkey and 53 percent want new side dishes on the menu this year.

Other items included in the box include Sweet Potato Waffle Fries and Toasted Onion Coated Green Beans.
