CARLYLE, ILL. – The Maschhoffs announced the hiring of a new vice president of support operations. Gerry Daignault joins The Maschhoffs after spending the last five years as chief executive officer of Double L Group, a company that specializes in ventilation and flooring for swine and poultry operations.
“We are extremely excited Gerry joined the team,” said Bradley Wolter, CEO of The Maschhoffs.
Daignault graduated from the University of Missouri – St. Louis with a bachelor’s degree in finance. Out of college he worked for Purina as director of finance for the eastern half of the United States. After 15 years, he took a position with PM Ag Products Inc. as chief financial officer.
In addition, Daignault worked for Newsham Hybrids for five years before becoming CFO of Pig Improvement Co. He was also the co-founder of Spectrum Agribusiness.
“I’ve always had a lot of respect and admiration for The Maschhoffs,” Daignault said. “When you consider the business that Ken, Julie, Dave and Karen have built, it’s pretty amazing. I’m honored to be a part of this company.”
