CHICAGO — Roger Drake has been named senior vice-president of marketing and communications for Morton's The Steakhouse.
Mr. Drake will oversee all day-to-day marketing activities for the company and will be focused on both internal and external communications programs.
"Roger has 20 years of marketing and public relations experience with our company and has been a driving force in helping us to build and expand our Morton's The Steakhouse brand," said Christopher Artinian, president and chief executive officer of Morton's Restaurant Group Inc. "Throughout the last two decades, he has been instrumental in the execution of innovative programs and exclusive special events for our Morton's guests."
Mr. Drake will be responsible for developing and implementing the company's marketing programs and promotions, both externally and internally. He will be working very closely with the Morton's executive team and the company's marketing and sales teams to further enhance company revenues and overall awareness for the Morton's The Steakhouse brand.
Before joining Morton's, Mr. Drake owned and operated Drake Productions, a video and marketing communications company. Before that, he served as senior producer and editor at Major League Baseball Productions, and is an Emmy Award winner.
Morton's Restaurant Group Inc. is the world's largest operator of company-owned upscale steakhouses. It owns and operates 76 Morton's steakhouses located in 64 cities in 27 states, and in Puerto Rico and five international locations (Toronto, Singapore, Hong Kong, Macau and Mexico City), as well as Trevi, its Las Vegas Italian restaurant.
