CHICAGO – Certified Angus Beef brand Schmacon Beef Bacon is set to launch into select Costco stores in the Northeast, announced Devanco Foods, a Chicago-based specialty meat company that acquired exclusive rights to all patents and intellectual property for Schmacon Beef Bacon.

The smoked, uncured beef bacon is Halal certified and will be available in a 24-oz retail package. Schmacon cooks in half the time and has fewer calories, fat and sodium compared to pork bacon.
