WASHINGTON – Garden Grove, Calif.-based AH Co. International Distribution Inc. recalled approximately 31,000 lbs of heat-treated, shelf-stable pork pâté products made with imported ingredients that were sourced from an ineligible company and not reinspected upon entry into the United States.
According to the US Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS), the products were shipped to multiple US distributors and the violation was identified as part of regular verification procedures.
The products included:
- Monique Ranou Pâté de Foie in 240-gram cans
- Monique Ranou Pâté de Campagne in 240-gram cans
- Monique Ranou Pâté de Campagne Supérieur in 180-gram jars
The FSIS said no illnesses or adverse reactions have been reported due to consumption of these products.
