MCLEAN, VA. – The Food Processing Suppliers Association (FPSA) has made the decision to cancel its Annual Conference scheduled for April 27-29 at the Hyatt Indian Wells Resort and Spa in Indian Wells, Calif. The Executive Committee of the FPSA Board chose to cancel the event after considering the ongoing safety risks of the COVID-19 pandemic.
FPSA staff is working on adapting the program to include some online programming. Many of the breakout sessions will be moved online. Those webinars will be available for free.
The FPSA Auction, which is used to raise money for charitable causes and scholarships, will now be held virtually on the GiveSmart app. Details for the new online auction are still being finalized. The annual auction supports FPSA’s Giving Back causes including the Meat Industry Suppliers Alliance Foundation.
The Annual FPSA Business Meeting will also be held online, giving FPSA members a chance to receive an update on association business. More details will come in upcoming months.
The 2022 Annual Conference is scheduled for March 22-24, 2022, at the La Cantera Resort & Spa in San Antonio.
