GREELEY, COLO. – JBS USA and Pilgrim’s Pride stated the company was on schedule to resume production at all its facilities on June 3.
The meat processor has been dealing with the ongoing fallout of a cyberattack over Memorial Day Weekend that led to some disruptions at the beginning of the week.
“JBS USA and Pilgrim's continue to make significant progress in restoring our IT systems and returning to business as usual,” said Andre Nogueira, chief executive officer of JBS USA. “Today, the vast majority of our facilities resumed operations as we forecast yesterday, including all of our pork, poultry and prepared foods facilities around the world and the majority of our beef facilities in the US and Australia.”
The company said it is not aware of any evidence at this time that any customer, supplier or employee data has been compromised.
