RIVIÈRE DU LOUP, QUEBEC – Costco completed its organic pork offering with the addition of organic ground pork from duBreton.
The company’s organic extra lean ground pork will be available as of July 22 in many Costco warehouse stores in eastern Canada. The product will be sold in a convenient vacuum pack. Costco already carries duBreton’s organic sliced ham.
“This is good news for duBreton, but also for the entire organic sector, which is significantly increasing its access to consumers. It is thanks to partners like Costco that organic agriculture will increase its impact on our collective environment,” said Vincent Breton, president of the company. “Being distributed in department stores and warehouse stores confirms that we made the right choice by concentrating our production in organic products.”
The company’s Organic and Rustic Farm Pork product lines are Certified Humane, antibiotic-free and hormone-free. duBreton organic pork is sourced from pigs that are fed a certified organic, GMO-free diet and guaranteed outdoor access.
