DALLAS — Quick service restaurant chain, Pollo Campero introduced added new Campero Chicken Bowls to its menus on Aug. 17.
The new item feature the company’s fried chicken or citrus-marinated grilled boneless chicken breast.
“We think delicious flavors taste better together, and with our new Campero Chicken Bowls, guests have a fresh way to experience Campero,” said Federico Valiente, director of marketing for Pollo Campero USA. “The bowls offer a flavorful, convenient and portable new meal solution with foods our guests can feel good about eating.”
The bottom of the bowls are made with rice, beans, spring mix, roasted corn, peppers, pico de gallo, smashed avocados and a lime wedge.
During the first month on the menu, customers who order the bowls on camper.com or the Pollo Campero app can get a second one for a dollar.
Pollo Campero is celebrating its 50th year in business with nearly 400 locations, including 70 in the United States.
