TUCKER, GA. – The International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE) will launch the 10th year of its IPPE Young Leaders Under 30 Program at the 2022 show, which is scheduled for Jan. 25-27. The program targets young professionals who work in the meat and poultry production and processing industries.
“The goal of the program is to engage and invest in the next generation of young professionals, between the ages of 21 and 29, while celebrating their status as up and coming leaders in their companies,” IPPE organizers said.
The program is designed to recognize the participants’ professional leadership qualities and allow those recognized to connect with other industry professionals at the IPPE trade show. Recipients will be exposed to education programs in addition to the latest technology in the industry while attending IPPE.
In addition to receiving free entry into the Expo, selected recipients will receive complimentary hotel accommodations for two nights. They will also be recognized at a breakfast held on their behalf.
Interested applicants must apply to the program by Oct. 1 and meet select requirements, including being a member of at least one of the following IPPE sponsor organizations: the American Feed Industry Association (AFIA), North American Meat Institute (NAMI) or US Poultry & Egg Association (USPOULTRY). No more than two applicants from a single member organization may be nominated. A panel of industry professionals will review the applications and notify the winners by Oct. 11. Attendee registration and general housing for the 2022 edition of IPPE will open Oct. 4. Visit ippexpo.org for more information.
