OTTAWA, ONTARIO – The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) announced Great Value Chicken Burgers were recalled because North York, Ontario-based Belmont Meat Products did not declare on its label the products contained egg, a possible allergen.
CFIA released the codes on packages that might be labeled incorrectly.
The recall started after test results were taken by the agency. There were no reported reactions associated with consuming the product.
Great Value chicken burgers are sold throughout Walmarts in Canada.
