SAN FRANCISCO – Food-delivery company, DoorDash Inc. and Lowes Foods, a regional grocery store chain serving the Carolinas, announced a partnership to offer consumers in the region on-demand, same-day grocery delivery to their doorstep from more than 70 locations in North and South Carolina.
Lowes Foods products have been added to DoorDash’s growing number of food vendors offering more than 50,000 items that are part of the company’s last-mile logistics platform. Using the DoorDash app or website customers can choose a delivery time slot ahead of time or request same-day delivery. According to the companies, Lowes Foods is available on DashPass, DoorDash’s membership program that offers members free delivery of thousands of restaurants, grocery and convenience stores nationwide. Lowes Foods’ customers’ orders are eligible for free delivery with a $25 minimum order.
