MEMPHIS, TENN. – More details are now available about Monogram Foods’ plans for its Dickson, Tenn., processing plant. The company made the initial announcement in December 2021.
According to the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development, Monogram Foods anticipates investing $53.5 million in the Dickson community and create 400 jobs.
“Our team members at Monogram Foods in Dickson will allow us to bring even more of your favorite convenience foods and appetizers to stores across the country,” said Karl Schledwitz chief executive officer of Monogram Assembled Foods LLC. “We look forward to bringing more jobs to the community and serving the Dickson area in many ways. A huge thanks to the state of Tennessee, TVA, and Dickson County for helping make this a reality.”
Monogram purchased the building from Conagra Brands which previously produced sausage breakfast sandwiches at the facility. During 2020, Conagra planned to close the plant but it was never completed.
This will be Monogram’s 11th facility across six states and the first processing plant in Tennessee when fully operational. The company has more than 3,000 employees.
