WASHINGTON – The Grow Renewable Energy from Ethanol Naturally Jobs Act of 2010 has been introduced by Sens. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) and Kent Conrad (D-ND).
Co-sponsored by Sens. John Thune (R-SD), Ben Nelson (D-NE), Mike Johanns (R-NE) and Tim Johnson (D-SD), it extends the ethanol blenders’ tax credit; the small ethanol producers tax credit; the cellulosic producer tax credit; and the ethanol import tariff, according to the American Meat Institute.
The measure is companion legislation to H.R.4940, introduced in the House of Representatives by Reps. Earl Pomeroy (D-ND) and John Shimkus (R-IL).
