NEW HOLLAND, PA. — Tyson Foods Inc. officials are investigating the cause of an April 3 sulfuric acid leak that left two employees injured at the company’s New Holland, Pa. plant.
According to reports, workers sustained burns on their arms and faces.
“We’re investigating an accident at our wastewater treatment facility in New Holland, Pa.,” said Tyson. “Two of our team members were treated for minor injuries and are doing well,” the company said. “We’re grateful for the swift response and assistance from local first responders.”
No other details about the incident were provided by the company or local officials.
