MEMPHIS, TENN. – Monogram Foods recently announced that it would be opening another USDA bakery operation in Medford, Mass.
This facility is 60,000 square feet and will produce ready-to-eat sandwiches and other bakery items for Monogram’s co-manufacturing partners.
“This is a special moment in our history as Monogram Foods has built this team from the ground-up, and retrofitted the entire building into a beautiful, efficient space for our customers and team members,” said Karl Schledwitz, chief executive officer of Monogram Foods. “We’ve made a substantial investment in Medford and we look forward to contributing to the community for a long time to come. This is further proof that our plan for strategic growth is working, and that we are paving a path to success for our customers, team members, and our communities.”
The food company is a privately held manufacturer of meat snacks, corn dogs, frozen appetizers, hot dogs, sausages, precooked bacon and portable snack and sandwich assembly.
Monogram said the new Massachusetts facility will be the 12th production operation in seven states.
