WICHITA, KAN. – According to economic developers in Waco, Texas officials from Cargill’s turkey processing plant have requested a building permit for a $2.7 million building project.
In an e-mail to MeatPoultry.com, Mike Martin, director of communications for Cargill Meat Solutions, said the construction project consists of replacing the interior wall panels at the plant, which are being installed for fire safety reasons.
“It’s part of our investment in the business and our commitment to remaining a valued business in the Waco/central Texas area,” Mr. Martin said.
