NEW YORK, NY —Online wholesale vendor Wagyu Haus is now offering its first collection of Wagyu beef. Part of the company’s goal is to provide a reliable and affordable way for consumers to access premium Japanese meat that can be difficult to locate in the United States.
“We are delighted to begin offering Wagyu to a larger consumer circle and to give more people a taste of authentic Japanese cuisine," Wagyu Haus said. "It's enjoyed by millions of lovers of Japanese food around the world, and we hope that through our company, more people will discover Wagyu and love it just as much as we do.”
Wagyu Haus collaborates with farmers in the Kagoshima and Hokkaido prefectures in Japan to source this specialty breed of beef.
The company noted Japanese cuisine continues to grow in popularity in the United States and most consumers consider Wagyu to be a premium-quality meat. It hopes to spread knowledge and accessibility of the meat to help the industry grow.
Currently, Wagyu Haus offers four cuts for distribution: the A5 Wagyu ribeye steak, striploin, filet mignon and sliced chuck roll.
Wagyu Haus said it hopes to release a broader range of Japanese foods in the future.
