NEW YORK — Daring Foods Inc. debuted its first refrigerated category product, Plant Chicken Tenders.
The Plant Chicken Tenders feature similar makeup to the company’s Original Plant Chicken Pieces but in a larger size that are sold fresh rather than frozen. They are non-GMO, vegan and gluten-free.
“We are so excited to be expanding Daring’s product line, offering our consumers the ability to choose from fresh or frozen plant chicken products,” said Ross Mackay, founder of Daring and chief executive officer. “At Daring, we’re constantly striving to create the simplest most natural form of animal protein without the animal, and with this launch we’re able to provide a fresh new take on our beloved Plant Chicken Pieces.”
Plant Chicken Tenders are one product in Daring’s plant-based chicken series. Other products include:

The Plant Chicken Tenders are available at 400 retailers, including Sprouts, Erewhon, Dierbergs, New Seasons and Pete’s Market.
