SALISBURY, MD. — Kevin McAdams was named president of Perdue Foods and chief operating officer of Perdue Farms on July 18.
The company said he would report to Randy Day, Perdue Farms’ chief executive officer.
“I’m honored to join Perdue Farms and look forward to building on the strong legacy and mission of the company and working closely with our very talented team to position Perdue for our next phase of growth as we consistently delight our valued customers and consumers with premium foods and services,” McAdams said.
McAdams previously worked at Jack Links protein snacks where he served as president of North America. Earlier stops in his career included president of Schwan’s Consumer Brands and Pabst Brewing Co.
Other previous positions were operating roles with Mizkan, Red Bull North America, The Coca-Cola Co. and Frito-Lay.

McAdams graduated from Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa in 1993 with a Bachelor’s in Political Science.
Protein products available in the Perdue Foods business, include the flagship Perdue Brand, Niman Ranch, Panorama Organic Grass-Fed Meats, Coleman natural and Yummy. The portfolio also includes pet food brands Spot Farms and Full Moon.
