BUFFALO, NY. — Rosina Food Products Inc. has completed construction of its $73.2 million facility in West Seneca, NY.
The new 105,000-square-foot plant is expected to create 40 jobs and will produce a variety of frozen meatballs, sliced sausage and toppings for the frozen Italian foods manufacturer.
“This project fulfills a longtime vision for Rosina which would not have been possible without our close partnership with New York State,” said Russel Corigliano, president and chief executive officer at Rosina. “Our family remains committed to serving the community by supplying high-quality, well-paying jobs as we continue delighting customers with the finest frozen Italian cuisine in the industry."
High-speed production lines in the new facility will more than double the maximum production capacity at Rosina’s older plant in Cheektowaga, NY, increasing to more than 50 million lbs annually from 20 million lbs.
The project’s completion marks the third state-supported expansion for Rosina, which has invested $95 million into its New York facilities since 2014.
