As part of IFFA 2010, a global, meat industry trade show in Frankfurt, Germany from May 8 to 13, event officials are offering attendees the opportunity to attend the “IFFA Meat Vision Conference” May 10 and 11, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. as part of their registration fee.
The first day of the two-morning event will include presentations and market observations and industry trends relative to five geographic segments, including: Europe, Russia, Asia, Australia and North and South America. On the second day, the German Institute of Food Technologies will present results of research focused on ingredient technology, shelf-life, automation and regulatory trends.
IFFA, which is held every three years, is the center of innovation and technology for the global meat industry. Many equipment, packaging and ingredient exhibitors use the fair to launch new products.
Messe Frankfurt, the organizer of this event, anticipates approximately 900 companies will exhibit their latest products and services on more than 100,000 square meters of exhibition space to some 60,000 trade visitors from more than 100 countries.
