BIRDSBORO, PA. — An ammonia leak at the Mehadrin Kosher Poultry plant in Birdsboro, Pa., resulted in the evacuation of approximately 125 people, including six who suffered non-life-threatening injuries, according to The Associated Press.

On Tuesday night, emergency crews were called to the plant, which is located about eight miles southeast of Reading. Exeter Township Sgt. Michael Bailey said the leak was contained to the plant.
