KANSAS CITY — New winter entree options are available on menus across the United States.
Sonic Drive-In debuted its take on a grilled cheese, featuring steak and bacon. The new grilled cheese has grilled steak, as well as grilled onions, bacon, barbecue sauce mayonnaise, and American cheese, all served in between two slices of Texas toast. The spicy version of the sandwich has a zesty cheese sauce and jalapeños in place of the barbecue sauce.
“A grilled cheese sandwich is the ultimate comfort food, and our Sonic culinary team has crafted a hearty twist on the wintertime staple with the new Steak and Bacon Grilled Cheese,” said Mackenzie Gibson, vice president of culinary and menu innovation at Sonic. “By combining the ooey, gooey cheesiness of a traditional grilled cheese with deliciously seasoned grilled steak and crispy bacon, we’ve delivered an elevated sandwich and proven once again that Sonic is the go-to destination to satisfy any craving, any time.”
Wings Etc. Grill & Pub added limited-time cauliflower wings, which are available in individual and shareable sizes.
“Cauliflower wings have become an increasingly popular menu item, and they were highly successful in our Southern Indiana tests,” said Rob Hensmann, chief executive officer of Wings Etc. “This addition to our menu will provide guests another way to enjoy their experience at Wings Etc.”
Papa Murphy’s Take ‘n’ Bake Pizza launched a new offering of Meatballs & Marinara, which features 10 Italian beef meatballs, covered with a marinara sauce and whole-milk mozzarella.
“Our culinary team continues to develop fresh, delicious take ‘n’ bake offerings that give our guests a variety of easy mealtime options,” said Tracey Ayres, vice president of brand and innovation for Papa Murphy’s. “Meatballs & Marinara are the perfect addition to turn pizza night into a complete meal, offering a wholesome and hearty dish that’s bound to be a crowd favorite.”
