ATLANTA — Church’s Texas Chicken announced it hired Will Cash as vice president of purchasing. Cash will begin using his procurement and supply chain experience this week to execute the quick-service chicken restaurant’s plan for continued dynamic growth.
“I’m thrilled for this opportunity to join a talented team, particularly as this iconic brand is positioned for its next phase of growth,” Cash said. “Amid current supply chain challenges and the overall pace of innovation in the QSR industry, it’s an exciting time to join this company and make an impact on the business.”
Cash will manage the company’s purchasing and lead the organization’s efficient sourcing of ingredients, equipment, and raw materials needed to support its growing operations. He will report to Randy Lawrence, senior vice president, supply and QA.
Cash held previous procurement and supply chain leadership positions of increasing responsibility at Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, Krispy Kreme Doughnut Corporation, flyExclusive and Pinkbox Doughnuts.
“Will brings valuable experience gained from years in the procurement industry and he will be a great asset to our team,” said Joe Guith, chief executive officer at Church’s. “As an accomplished leader with various skills and vast industry knowledge, we are confident Will can seamlessly take on this role and we are thrilled to welcome him.”
