KANSAS CITY, MO. — From brisket to ribeye, beef has been featured in recent menu additions at several foodservice chains.
Charleys Philly Steaks debuted its Kentucky bourbon cheesesteak, which features a bourbon glaze with notes of molasses, according to the company. The sandwich is topped with sauteed onions, shredded cheddar cheese and french onion crisps.
Arby’s also added a new sandwich made with ribeye that was inspired by steakhouse flavors. The limited-edition steakhouse garlic ribeye sandwich featured thinly sliced ribeye, topped with Swiss cheese, crispy onions and garlic aioli on a toasted bun.
Quick-service restaurant Fuzzy’s Taco Shop is bringing back two fan-favorite options, including the saucy brisket poblano taco. Making its debut in 2022, the saucy brisket poblano taco features shredded brisket, topped with “butt burnin’” sauce, roasted poblano peppers, pickled red onions, avocado slices, Fuzzy’s garlic sauce, feta and cilantro.
“Our goal with our limited-time tacos is to introduce new flavor profiles to the menu in a unique and creative way utilizing premium proteins and ingredients,” said Chef Josh Diekman, executive chef at Fuzzy’s Taco Shop. “Both of these tacos were fan favorites during their time on our menu, so it felt like a natural decision to bring them back so our guests can enjoy them once again.”
