SPRINGDALE, ARK. — Adding a little fright to consumers’ bites, Tyson Foods Inc. is bringing back its Halloween-inspired nuggets, which will be available in retail stores for the first time.
Made with 100% white chicken meat, the Spooky Nuggets come in three festive shapes: pumpkins, bats and ghosts. Customers can purchase them in 27-oz packages at retail locations across the nation, including at Walmart, Kroger, Publix, Aldi, HEB, Meier, Albertson’s Safeway and more. They will be available while supplies last.
Last year, the product debuted as limited-edition Halloween nuggets, available only through a special giveaway on the brand’s web page.
Now the nuggets are back after an overwhelming demand, Tyson said.
"When we launched Spooky Nuggets last year, we were blown away by consumers' excitement for our newest shape from our Fun Nugget lineup," said Jessica Johnson, managing director at Tyson Foods. "This year, we knew we had to go bigger than before, so we are excited to have these on shelves coast-to-coast so even more consumers can have a savory treat this spooky season."
