SALISBURY, MD. — Perdue Farms recently announced its new product named Air Fryer Ready Crispy Wings.
The company said the wings come in three different flavors: Hot N’ Spicy, Lemon Pepper and Roasted.
“When ordering takeout, many of us have experienced the disappointing bite of not-so-crispy wings. Knowing 75% of households in the US have air fryers, Perdue saw an opportunity to create the first of its kind chicken wing uniquely made for the air fryer, conveniently delivering the crispiest wings in just 16-18 minutes,” said Cody Walter, senior marketing manager at Perdue Foods. “To end the takeout versus at-home wing debate, we wanted to show wing lovers the best way to wing is at home, and with an air fryer.”
The company noted that Perdue would offer 100 limited-release Ultimate at Home Wing Kits that feature everything needed to make home wings, including a brand-new air fryer. The kit includes the new crispy wings, one apron and one pair of tongs, a coupon redeemable at retailer locations, tax and shipping costs.
The wings are made with Perdue’s chicken raised without antibiotics and hormones, fed with an all-vegetarian diet, and raised cage-free.
Starting Dec. 11, Perdue will offer the kits on its website while supplies last.
The new Air Fryer Ready Crispy Wings will roll out nationwide in select retailers, like Shoprite, Meijer, Safeway, Albertsons, Giant, and many more, including the company’s website.
