SALISBURY, MD. — Perdue Farms was recently recognized as a leader in social and environmental responsibility by both The Business Concept’s CSR Excellence Awards and the 2023 National Diversity Awards.

The Business Concept CSR Excellence Awards named Perdue the Most Impactful Responsible Food & Agriculture Company – USA. This award is merit-driven, recognizing organizations that strive for ethical, social and environmentally conscious practices under the umbrella of corporate social responsibility.
Perdue said its selection was based on the company’s Delivering Hope To Our Neighbors outreach program and its continuous initiatives to improve the sustainability of operations.
In the National Diversity Awards, Perdue was acknowledged as one of the top 50 US companies for corporate social responsibility. The recognition celebrates companies that demonstrate exceptional leadership through sustainable practices and responsible corporate citizenship.
Perdue stood out for its commitment to community betterment, collaboration with diverse stakeholders and strategic sustainability initiatives, the company said.
The fourth-generation, family-owned company has a long history of giving back, dating back 104 years. Perdue said its values of stewardship, quality, integrity and teamwork guide all that it does.
