VINA, CALIF. – A line of organic grass-fed beef hot dogs will be carried by Whole Foods Markets as part of a partnership between Panorama Meats Inc., the nation’s largest producer of U.S.D.A. Certified Organic and 100% grass-fed and finished beef, and Wellshire Farms of Swedesboro, N.J. Being introduced under the Wellshire Farms label in Whole Foods’ 30 Northern California stores, the hot dogs will eventually be available to other Whole Foods stores throughout the U.S. Suggested retail price is $7.49 per package.
Consumer tastings of the new hot dogs and its ground beef will be offered by Panorama through June 1 at Whole Foods stores throughout Northern California. Panorama cattle are raised on pastures of natural grasses, legumes and range forage. Cattle are raised without hormones or antibiotics and are not fed animal by-products.
Wellshire Farms is a small, family owned, all-natural meat company that produces minimally processed, beef, pork and poultry products that are free of added nitrates, nitrites, antibiotics, hormones and artificial ingredients. Wellshire uses only small, family owned, sustainable farmers and vendor partners to raise and process its beef, pork and poultry products.
