Pre-proposals on controlling
Listeria monocytogenes on ready-to-eat (R.T.E.) meat and poultry products,Escherichia coli O157:H7 in fresh beef products andSalmonella in meat and poultry products are being solicited, in particular. The priorities are listed by pathogen and are further categorized within each.
This year A.M.I.F. has developed a Priority Focus category within each pathogen research area, in a departure from previous priorities. This category highlights the areas of greatest concern within a given pathogen research area. Priority Focus replaces the previously defined Targeted Research area. Research priorities outside of the scope of the three referenced pathogens are listed under Other Food Safety Research.
Pre-proposals are due by 5 p.m. EDT on July 30. More details on pre-proposal submission and the complete R.P.P. is available athttp://amif.org/ht/a/GetDocumentAction/i/60024.
