LOUISVILLE, KY. — Alex Barsk was recently named the chief financial officer for KFC Global beginning on June 1.
Barsk will report to KFC Global Chief Executive Officer Sabir Sami. She will lead the KFC global finance function to help ensure continued growth and profitability for the business. Her other responsibilities include overseeing KFC’s financial planning, analysis and strategy functions.
Before arriving for KFC Global, Barsk worked at a sister brand, Pizza Hut, and served as global chief financial officer. She joined Pizza Hut in 2015 and held leadership roles in strategy, finance, development and supply chain.
“Her leadership has had a positive impact in driving Pizza Hut’s growth agenda,” KFC Global said in its statement. “Alex is a heart-led coach, high-performing culture builder and a true global citizen.”
Barsk previously worked as an engagement manager at Strategy& (formerly Booz & Company) for their London and Dallas offices. She also spent several years in London with Cambridge Associates, a global investment advisory firm.
She holds a BA from Brown University and an MBA from the London Business School.
