COLUMBUS, OHIO – Grote Co. recently announced that it acquired Springdale, Ark.-based Pro-Fab LLC, a food industry conveyor manufacturer, millwright and process piping supplier and installer.

“Grote Co.’s acquisition of Pro-Fab adds to our ever-growing family of brands,” said Bob Grote, chief executive officer of Grote Co. “Pro-Fab’s focus on the poultry industry and suite of services allows us to expand into new markets within the food processing industry. We’re pleased to welcome them to the fold.” 

Grote said Pro-Fab would integrate over the next several months and remain operational at its location in Springdale.

Since 2003, Pro-Fab has designed custom stainless steel equipment for a wide range of industrial food processors around the United States. On its LinkedIn page, Pro-Fab helps build equipment for poultry, beef, pork and other meat processing applications. 

Other brands under the Grote Co. include PFI Conveyors, Vanmark Equipment, Advanced Food Technology, GME International and Pizzamatic.
