CHICAGO — V&V Supremo Foods Inc., a producer of Mexican cheeses, cremas, and chorizo, announced that it will start selling its newest product, chicken chorizo.

The company said the item is a delicious alternative to traditional pork and beef varieties while maintaining similar flavor, texture and quality.

The food company has been in Chicago since 1964, when it was founded by Mexican natives Gilberto Villaseñor Sr. and Ignacio Villaseñor.
