ST. MARY’S, OHIO — Classic Delight LLC, announced a voluntary recall of some of its individually wrapped sandwiches due to potential contamination of Listeria monocytogenes.

 According to the company, the products subject to the recall were shipped to distributors in Arkansas, California, Maryland, Missouri, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Texas. Items may end up in foodservice distribution, convenience stores and vending areas. The sandwiches were produced between May 11, 2023, and June 6, 2024.

 The recall was initiated after environmental samples tested positive for Listeria. Classic Delight said it continues to work with the US Food and Drug Administration when it conducts this recall. Production of the products listed has been suspended until the FDA and the company investigate the source of the problem.

As of June 10, no illnesses linked to the consumption of these products were reported.
