CANON, GA. — The newly formed custom poultry processing solutions company Jarrett Foods announced the appointment of Neil Martin as plant manager.

Martin will manage the recently remodeled facility in Franklin County, Ga. Jarrett Foods originally announced the acquisition of the facility last October, when it shared plans to expand the site to a total of 53,972 square feet through a $14 million investment. The company anticipated to begin operations with a team of 70 in 2024 and increase personnel to 300 workers by the next year.

“With his extensive industry background, training and proven track record, Neil will play a key role as our company grows,” said Terry Willis, president of Jarrett Foods.

Martin brings nearly 30 years of experience in overseeing production at several plants for two national poultry processing companies. As a Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Martin has a proven track record of ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency in poultry processing. Additionally, he has received extensive training in Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) and animal welfare, equipping him to lead the company in the industry's best practices.
