PORTLAND, ORE. — Family-owned Enviro-Pak announced Patrick Martini has become the full owner of the company and has moved the company to a new manufacturing plant in Portland, Ore.

The new facility officially transitioned into full production a few weeks ago, with a focus on building specialized food processing ovens, smokehouses, dryers, steamers and chillers.

For the past 52 years, Enviro-Pak has served the meat industry by supplying ovens, smokehouses and more.

“Anything involving airflow and thermal transfer, that’s what we do best and that’s what we stick to,” Martini said.  “We will remain a specialized equipment company and will continue to focus on what our customers have come to rely on.”

Martini has been with the family company for over four decades, beginning his career in grade school as a floor sweeper at his father’s smokehouse manufacturing plant.

In early 2024, Martini bought out several family members to take on full ownership of the company. Under his leadership, Enviro-Pak is primed for a new era of growth and innovation.

In addition to the new manufacturing plant, among the changes and improvements Martini plans for Enviro-Pak are streamlining manufacturing processes, delivering more advanced control systems and offering increased flexibility for customers to add options and unique features on their equipment even after installation.

Enviro-Pak will be exhibiting its equipment at the upcoming 2024 American Association of Meat Processors (AAMP) Convention, which will be held Aug. 1-3 in Omaha.

“We’re beyond excited to launch this new chapter for our company,” Martini said.  “With a bigger emphasis on R& D, as well as new products in the pipeline, we’re looking ahead to great things in our future and partnering with our customers for success.”
