WASHINGTON — Family-owned meat processor based in Woodburn, Ore., BrucePac is recalling an additional 15 poultry products due to Listeria concerns, bringing the total number of recalled items to 90.

On Oct. 9, the US Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) initially announced that the company would be recalling nearly 10 million lbs of ready-to-eat meat and poultry products that may be adulterated with Listeria monocytogenes manufactured at its Durant, Okla., processing facility.

A list of the 9,986,245 lbs of RTE items, which were produced from June 19, 2024, to Oct. 8, is available here. Labels from the added 15 items can be found here.

BrucePac shipped the products to other establishments and distributors nationwide, which then distributed them to restaurants and institutions.

The products subject to recall bear establishment numbers "51205 or P-51205" inside or under the USDA mark of inspection.

FSIS discovered the problem after performing routine product testing of finished product containing RTE poultry products produced by BrucePac and confirmed those products positive for Listeria. A subsequent FSIS investigation identified BrucePac RTE chicken as the source of the Listeria contamination.

There have still been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products.
