OAKWOOD, OHIO — Turkey, egg and deli producer Cooper Farms announced its progress on its new egg breaker at the Fort Recovery, Ohio, liquid egg processing facility and how it enhances efficiency, capacity and sustainability for the business.

The company added that the recently installed egg breaker significantly increases its production capabilities, offering precision and speed when separating egg whites and yolks. The egg breaker can now process thousands of eggs per hour, allowing Cooper Farms to efficiently handle high-volume orders. There are also additional silos at the liquid egg plant to help with the increased liquid egg production.

“These additions mark a transformative step forward for Cooper Farms,” said Jeff Cutler, director of Cooper Farms. “We’re not only increasing our capacity to meet the needs of our customers in the industry but also strengthening our commitment to sustainability and animal welfare. These upgrades allow us to process eggs more efficiently while supporting the growing demand for cage-free products, ensuring that we deliver both quality and responsibility in every step of our operation.”

By using energy-efficient technology and optimizing its storage system, Cooper Farms said it’s reducing its environmental footprint through lower energy consumption and waste reduction. Adding the new improvements helps Cooper Farms’ ongoing effort to minimize resource use while maintaining top-tier products in their supply chain.

“Cooper Farms is large enough to meet the demand of customers, while still being able to personalize their product to fit their unique needs,” Cutler said. “We continue to make great strides in optimizing processes, systems and our team members to deliver an outstanding product.”

The company also discussed its dedication to research and development to refine processes and ensure that it stays ahead in the ever-evolving market.
