CANON, GA. — Jarrett Foods President Terry Willis is retiring, the company announced on Nov. 12. Willis joined the company in fall 2023 during the construction and renovation of Jarrett Foods’ processing plant and headquarters.
“We appreciate Terry’s commitment to Jarrett Foods,” said chief executive officer, Heath Jarrett. “From the initial concept meetings, throughout the construction phase and start-up of the plant, Terry was dedicated every step of the way.”
Based in northeast Georgia, Jarrett Foods offers a range of poultry products, including whole bird cut-up, custom breast and thigh deboning, breast and tender hand portioning, marination and re-packing services.
In the summer of 2024, Jarrett Foods announced the start-up of operations at its 53,972-square-foot facility. While the plant started with a team of 70 employees, the company plans to expand to 300.
