SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS — Kiolbassa Smoked Meats is bringing back an old-time favorite — Kiolbassa Dry Cured Bacon — now available with a renewed commitment to premium quality the brand’s fans have come to expect.
Originally introduced by Bobby Kiolbassa in the 1970s, the dry-cured bacon is crafted with four simple ingredients. Kiolbassa calls its newest product, “all meat, no cheat,” due to the company’s commitment to no added water or phosphates. Kiolbassa Bacon is thick-cut and naturally hickory smoked for robust flavor in every bite. For those who prefer a hint of spice, Kiolbassa is also offering an optional peppered version of the dry-cured bacon, made with only five ingredients to bring a touch of extra flavor to the premium cut.
Kiolbassa began its bacon offering in 2018, but pandemic-related challenges led to service disruptions that affected Kiolbassa’s high standards. Consequently, the company decided to suspend production of bacon until the brand could deliver on the quality it’s known for.
